Dr P Mohamed Ali
Founder, Galfar Group
Dr P Mohamed Ali co-founded GALFAR Engineering and Contracting in the Sultanate of Oman in 1972. From modest beginnings as a small construction company, the organization grew to become Oman's largest private sector company and employer, with EPC capability spanning oil and gas, roads and bridges, civil and maritime infrastructure, utilities, and services.
He started his professional career in the 'General Reserve Engineering Force' under the Ministry of Defense at Mizoram, in the North-East of India. After three years of hard work in a challenging terrain, he decided to move to the Middle-East which was emerging as a business hub following the gulf boom, where he co-founded GALFAR in 1972.
He also established MFAR Constructions Private Limited in 1996 at Bangalore. Through Dr Ali's vision, the MFAR Group has acquired a powerful presence in the construction, real estate, hospitality and activated carbon manufacturing fields in India. As a well-renowned philanthropist, Dr Ali believes in creating infrastructure for developing human potential — the intrinsic value of "Business With A Human Face".
Mr. Vikas Bhargava
Chief Operating Officer (COO), Galfar India
Vikas Bhargava is currently serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Galfar Engineering & Contracting (India) Private Limited, where he oversees highway operations and strategic initiatives. He brings over 33 years of comprehensive expertise in project management and infrastructure development.

His expertise covers highways, roads and bridges (20+ years), oil & gas and refinery projects (5 years), power sector (3 years), and water supply/building projects (5 years), across India and overseas.
His strategic approach encompasses financial closure management, SPV establishment, contract awards, and comprehensive risk management — skills especially valuable in today's complex infrastructure landscape, requiring sophisticated financial structuring and multi-stakeholder coordination.
